Working Conditions for Factory Girls: Matching worksheet
This worksheet helps students understand the difficult and dangerous working conditions that young female workers experienced in garment factories during the early twentieth century. Students must match quotes from women who worked in garment factories in Chicago in 1910 with a general description of a workplace problem. The quotes were collected by the Women's Trade Union League. https://shec.ashp.cuny.edu/items/show/1948 |
